Play-Based Learning
For over 60 years, the ECC has been dedicated to establishing in children a love of learning through play. From story time to art to imaginative play, as well as enrichment in yoga, music, and nature. Our spacious indoor facility and beautiful, nature filled, outdoor areas are condusive to learning. Children are encouraged to learn, wonder, explore and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
Caring Community
The ECC has a dedicated and involved parent community, led by our Parent Advisory Council. With the many events held throughout the year—from Trunk or Treat at Halloween to Outdoor Movie Nights—the parent community comes together to foster relationships that will last a lifetime.
Dedicated Teachers
In a field where turnover is high, the ECC boasts a long-term and dedicated faculty and administration, with teachers who have been at the ECC for years. They are committed to creating a unique environment for learning and growing. The ECC faculty is like no other since they teach from their hearts and they themselves are life-long learners!
Our Programs
The ECC is for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old. Our programs are flexible and convenient,. with a half-day morning program, Lunch Bunch, and Creative Kids—our innovative afternoon programming—as well as extended day options. You can build your own day from half day or from 8 to 5. There are also many options in between
In the Twos and Threes programs, parents also have the option to choose between sending their child two, three, or five days a week, while the Fours program offers an extended day to help prep kids for full-day Kindergarten. A day at ECC can range from 9am to 12pm or as long as 8am until 5pm.
Our Curriculum
The ECC follows the principles of The Creative Curriculum, a curriculum based on the latest research of how children learn best. Our classes provide excellent opportunities for learning through play—from sharing to making friends to discovering their own creativity and interests. This process is skillfully guided by our professional and experienced faculty. When the children leave the ECC they are ready for Kindergarten and whatever life offers them.
